At the “Regenboogstadion”, Zulte Waregem host Club Brugge KV for the third week of the Jupiler Pro League.
Waregem won their second game in the league, against Sint Truiden (2-0), at home, as they were the best team in the field. Despite they could not find the net in the first half, they took advantage of the fact that the visitors were playing with ten players after the 53th minute and four minutes later, Heylen put his team in front. The final 2-0 was made by Leya, who scored from the penalty spot, eight minutes before the 90s. Despite the lots of changes during the transfer period, Waregem still play very good. Goalkeeper Sammy Bossut is injured, but this is not a big problem for coach Francky Dury.
On the other hand, Club Brugge KV may have been eliminated from Champions League, but in Belgium they count two wins in two league games. Last week, they host AS Eupen, as the visitors took the lead after 19 minutes. Although, the hosts bring upside down and scored three times, as Vossen (PG 32′), Dennis (65′) and Abdoulay Diaby (90′) found the net. For the game against Zulte Waregem, coach Ivan Leko cannot count on Laurens De Bock and Jeremy Perbet, as they are both injured. Their target is a third win, as in their mind there is also the game against AEK for Europa League ‘s play offs.
Prediction: 2 (Bwin @ 2.10)
